The light that gets you through any interference

A private network that connects cities and countries and holds the connection where an ordinary channel dies. The path weakens — and the app switches to a backup on its own. Nothing to configure.

Get Mayak Networks on Google PlayOr install it from Google Play.

On a phone the account is created right in the app, and it makes up the password for you. To start using it, confirm your email — that is what opens the 7 free days.

  • Traffic encryption
  • Steady in difficult networks
  • No ads
  • 7 days free for a confirmed email

Works with no setup on all your devices

A dependable connection instead of fiddling with configs: open it, press “Connect” — that’s all.

  • Holds the connection

AmneziaWG 3.1 protects traffic from analysis — the connection keeps working where an ordinary tunnel stops responding.

  • The backup takes over on its own

If the direct path weakens, the app switches to the backup on its own. You don’t have to do anything.

  • One tap

No keys and no manual settings: open the app, press “Connect” — and you are protected.

  • All your devices

One account — up to 10 devices at the same time on the “Max” plan. Today that means Android phones and tablets; on a Linux computer, a settings file from your account. iPhone, Windows and macOS are planned. Routers and Smart TVs do not understand that file yet.

  • Protection on open Wi-Fi

In cafés, airports and hotels your traffic is encrypted — strangers on the same network will not intercept your passwords, messages and card details.

On your device and in the country you need

The Android app is ready — it downloads and works right now. The other platforms are still only planned. You choose the connection country yourself, or leave it to the automatic mode.

Devices

  • Android ready

Soon

  • iOS
  • Windows
  • macOS
  • Linux
  • Chrome
  • Smart TV
  • Routers

There are no apps of our own for these systems yet. On a Linux computer the config file from your account already works — for iPhone, Mac and Windows we have not confirmed it yet. What this means.

Countries

  • The current list of countries is shown by the app on its main screen, under the connect button.

You choose the country in the app, on the main screen under the connect button. Russian services can be opened directly, bypassing the tunnel. Need a particular location? Write to us: from your account or by email to support@mayaknetworks.com.

From install to protection — three steps

  1. Install the app

Download Mayak Networks for Android and open it.

  2. Choose a country

Pick the connection country — or leave the choice automatic.

  3. Press “Connect”

Done. From there the app keeps watch on the channel quality and switches to a backup when it needs to.

How Mayak is different

We compare against what people actually try first — a free VPN from the extension store and a do-it-yourself Amnezia server — not against an imaginary rival.

The table scrolls sideways →

A comparison of Mayak Networks with free VPNs (browser extensions and public servers) and a self-hosted Amnezia on a rented VPS.
Capability Mayak Networks Free VPN Amnezia on your own VPS
Working on Russian mobile networks Disguised as ordinary traffic (AmneziaWG 3.1), tested on real SIM cards Classic protocols are visible to carrier equipment — connections often drop Depends on the setup — you tune the masking parameters yourself
When a connection method stops working Three ways to connect — the app tries them on its own Usually no fallback at all Diagnosing and reconfiguring — by hand
Browsing history We do not keep it A free service has to live on something — often that is data and ads Under your control
Speed and traffic volume No limits: server uplink up to 10 Gbit/s, and a plan is a number of devices, not a speed Free tiers usually cap the speed or the volume Whatever the rented server gives, that is what you get
Support A real person answers — from your account or by email Usually no one to write to You are your own support
One plan for several people Plan slots can be handed to your family, each person gets their own login Everyone sets things up separately Possible, but handing out configs and keeping track is on you

Simple plans, honest prices

7 days free once you confirm your email, no card needed. After that — monthly, cancel any time. We do not throttle speed or cap traffic: the server uplink is up to 10 Gbit/s, and on your device you get as much as your carrier gives. The plans differ in the number of devices, not in megabits.

The trial is 7 days on one device once you confirm your email, and needs no card; until it is confirmed there is no access. Payment is made in your account and access is extended as soon as it is confirmed. Prices are in roubles, and we take Russian bank cards and SBP only — a card issued outside Russia will be declined.

One plan — for several people

There is no need to buy a second account and no need to share your password. You can hand out the slots of your plan to people close to you: each of them gets their own account with their own login, and only you pay — it uses up your device limit.

  • Everyone has their own login

Their own account and their own password — you never have to hand yours over. The link appears only when the person presses “Accept” themselves.

  • One person pays

The whole group’s access rests on your subscription. You can take a slot back or break the link at any moment, and your account tells you in advance how many devices will be disconnected.

  • You see devices and volume, not websites

You can see how many devices a person has, when they connected and how much traffic they used up. Which websites and apps they open is visible to no one, including you — we do not store that.

When your subscription ends — their access ends too, so every member can see in their own account whose plan they are on and until what date. Slots can be passed on further if you allow it: there are three levels below you.

Share it with friends — you both get money

Every account has its own invitation code. Your friend enters it when they register, pays for a plan and stays paid for 31 days — after that they get 50 ₽ and you get 100 ₽ to your account balance. Money, not days: the balance can be spent on any plan.

  1. Pick up your code

Your code and your invitation link are in your account, in the “Invite a friend” card. The same card shows how many people came and how much money has already been credited.

  2. Your friend enters it when registering

A code can be applied within 14 days of registration, and once per account. Applying it credits nothing by itself — it only links the two accounts.

  3. They pay — you both get the money

The reward does not arrive the moment they pay: the invited person has to stay paid for 31 days. That way we do not pay for gaming the system — which is why we can pay for real friends.

There are up to 10 rewards a month for the person inviting. If your friend gets the payment refunded before the reward matures, there is no reward at all. This is not an affiliate scheme with percentages: we pay for bringing in a person the service turned out to be useful for.

Frequently asked questions

What is Mayak Networks?

Mayak Networks is a private network for stable access to the internet. The app encrypts your connection and helps you stay online in networks where ordinary channels work unreliably — thanks to a modern protocol (AmneziaWG 3.1) and automatic switching to a backup channel.

Is it legal?

Yes. An encrypted connection is ordinary technology: banking apps, corporate networks and every https website work that way. Mayak protects your communication channel and is not intended for access to material prohibited in your country.

Responsibility for what you do online remains yours — as with any other connection. We operate under the law of the Russian Federation, store a minimum of data and keep no browsing history — the details are in the Privacy Policy.

Which devices are supported?

The Android app is available now. Versions for iOS, Windows, macOS and Linux are planned later. On a Linux computer the config file from your account already works today — for iPhone, Mac and Windows we have not confirmed it yet.

How much does it cost?

7 days free on one device, no card required; the access is opened by confirming your email. After that — plans from 300 ₽/month (see the “Plans” section).

Do you keep logs?

We do not record the contents of your traffic — which websites you open. Technical logs are kept to run the service and keep its quality; what exactly and why is described honestly in the Privacy Policy (Federal Law No. 152-FZ).

What should I do if the connection is unstable?

Usually the app handles it on its own: it watches the quality of the path and moves to the backup channel when the direct one weakens, without you doing anything.

If the drops keep coming, do this in order:

  1. In the app open “Settings” → “Check the connection” — it goes through every route and shows which one does not get through for you.
  2. Change the country: tap “Ping” above the country list and pick the one with the lower latency.
  3. If the direct path never works in your network, turn on “Always use the backup channel”: you will not wait for detection every time.

A step-by-step walkthrough is in the help centre: “The connection drops or is slow”.

How is Mayak Networks different from other services?

There are two key differences: an automatic backup channel — when the direct path weakens the app moves to the backup on its own, with no manual steps; and the modern AmneziaWG 3.1 protocol, which holds the connection in networks with aggressive traffic management. The first 7 days are free.

How do I pay, and what is accepted?

The trial is 7 days once you confirm your email, and needs no card. Until it is confirmed there is no access.

After that you pay in your account: pick a plan, pay on a secure page, and access is extended as soon as the payment is confirmed. We accept Russian bank cards and SBP (the Russian instant-payment system) — nothing else so far. Prices are in roubles: “Start” — 300 ₽/month, “Family” — 500 ₽/month, “Max” — 700 ₽/month.

Can I pay with a card issued outside Russia?

No, not today — and we would rather say it here than let you find out at the payment page. Our payment provider takes Russian bank cards and SBP transfers only, so a card issued abroad will simply be declined. We do not accept PayPal, crypto or wire transfers either.

What still works: the free trial needs no card at all, so you can install the app and see whether the service is any use in your network before money is involved. And someone with a Russian card — family, a friend — can pay for your account: the plan belongs to the account, not to the card. If you are outside Russia and want to pay, write to support@mayaknetworks.com and say where you are paying from — that is how we learn how many people are asking.

How is AmneziaWG different from plain WireGuard?

AmneziaWG is the Amnezia team’s development of the WireGuard protocol with extra protection against traffic analysis. Plain WireGuard has a recognisable handshake pattern, because of which carrier network equipment can throttle such connections. AmneziaWG 3.1 changes that pattern, so the connection looks like ordinary traffic and stays stable. Speed and encryption remain at the WireGuard level. Mayak Networks uses exactly AmneziaWG 3.1.

How many devices can be connected at once?

It depends on the plan: “Start” — up to 3 devices, “Family” — up to 5, “Max” — up to 10. They all work at the same time under one account. The app is Android only (phones and tablets); on a Linux computer a settings file from your account works. Versions for iPhone, Windows and macOS are still only planned, with no dates promised.

Can I block ads and adult websites?

Yes, your account has a filtering choice: off, “ads and trackers”, or kids mode (adult websites are additionally blocked and safe search is turned on). If you already have a filter of your own — NextDNS, for example — you can enter its addresses instead of ours. The filter works at the DNS level — that is, in every app on the device at once, with nothing extra to install. A new setting is applied on the next connection.

Why you can trust us

We do not ask you to take our word for it — here is what you can check yourself.

  • The app’s code is open. The client is built on the open code of AmneziaWG and WireGuard® — protocols known and studied by the community. The source code of our own app is available on request: write to support@mayaknetworks.com and we will send it — this is our obligation under the GPL, not a favour. You can see exactly what runs on your phone.
  • We keep no browsing history. We do not record which websites you open. What we do collect to run the service is honestly listed in the Privacy Policy (Federal Law No. 152-FZ).
  • We live on subscriptions, not on ads. The servers are paid for with subscribers’ money — that is why there are no ads in the app and your data is not a product.
  • Support is answered by a real person. A human replies, not a bot: from your account or by email at support@mayaknetworks.com.

Light your own lighthouse

Create an account and download the app — it takes a minute. A 7-day trial on one device once you confirm your email, and we do not ask for payment details.

Point your phone camera at this — the app downloads onto the phone. The button next to it saves the file on this computer: the app is Android-only for now.
  • Access as soon as you confirm your email
  • An app for Android
  • No card — 7 days

A direct APK download. The same app is on Google Play — installing from there is simpler. The two channels are incompatible: a build from the store cannot be installed over one downloaded here, or the other way round — the signatures differ. When you install from the file, Android will warn you that it does not know this developer: an ordinary window for a file from outside the store — tap the grey line “Install anyway” in it, not the blue “OK” button. Installation step by step.
